Who pays for your vehicle?
Collision coverage, when applicable, covers damage to or total loss of
your own vehicle.
The other motorist's coverage, if anything, may compensate you for your loss. However,
your collision coverage, when applicable, may initially cover damage to your own vehicle.
This expense may later be recovered.
My vehicle was towed to Totem Towing, how do I get my things out of
it?
If the vehicle was towed to our storage facility and you need to remove
items from your vehicle, you may come to our compound and request that you pick up your
belongings. Make sure you bring picture identification with you. This security
measure is necessary to ensure your vehicle and goods are not released to someone unknown
to the owner.
What do I do now?
You will need to contact your insurance company (or companies). To
report your accident, you will need to have the police report and your insurance papers
with you when you phone, to assist your insurance company in taking a complete claim.
